Support the Peace Contingent in the Veterans Day Parade

Parade begins at 11:30 a.m. at 26th St. and goes up 5th Ave to 56th St.

"Please come with banners and signs to support our veterans who have been fighting for peace and justice. Veterans for Peace, Black Veterans for Social Justice, Vietnam Veterans against the War, Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, and Iraq Veterans Against the War have asked us to be there along the parade route to cheer
them on."

Cindy Sheehan, along with Gold Star Mothers Sue Niederer and Celeste Zappala, will join them to remind the country that we care about the
troops and we care about peace.

Many groups are congregating along the length of the parade route. Television crews will be located near 40th Street by the library.

With more than 2000 U.S. servicepeople dead in Iraq and over 15,000 wounded, we will bring the most important message to the nation:

Support our Troops, Bring them Home Now, Then Treat Them Right!
