Sept. 15: Film on Hurricane Katrina

Independent Film on Hurricane Katrina
September 15, 6:30pm
2295 Adam Clayton Powell
(2/3 or B/C to 135th St.)

At our regular September 24th coalition volunteers' meeting, we will be showing "Eyewitness New Orleans," a powerful short film from Gloria La Riva, a member of the A.N.S.W.E.R. delegation that recently returned from New Orleans. Their report can be found here. The film features testimonies from the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. Come attend the film showing, and find out how you can become an organizer for the September 24th march on the White House. We're only two weeks away.
