ALERT: Cuba & Haiti solidarity events changed

TO ALL FRIENDS OF CUBA AND VENEZUELA
The Cuba-Venezuela solidarity welcome event Scheduled for Sept. 16, at the Riverside Church has been changed.
There will now be two separate and complementary events one with Cuban National Assembly President Ricardo Alarcon and a second with President Hugo Chavez.

For tickets for either event, individuals are strongly encouraged to contact an organization in which they are most active, especially organizations with a history of solidarity with Cuba and Venezuela. Individuals should submit their names through only one organization.

You will need to submit, as early as possible, the names - as they appear on a photo ID, which will be required for admission - and phone number(s) for all persons who desire a ticket. Your name on a list DOES NOT guarantee a ticket. Space is very limited.

Rally in solidarity with the people of Haiti, Palestine, and the Philippines and against the puppet governments of Gerard Latortue, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Ariel Sharon followed by brief marches to and rallies at the Philippine and Haitian consulates/missions.
