July 12: Protest Military Recruiting

From the International Action Center:

Protest at Military Recruiting Center
Tues. July 12
5:00 - 6:30 pm
23rd St. & 6th Ave.

U.S. OUT of Iraq!
Recruiters OUT of our communities!
ROTC OUT of our schools!
Money for jobs and education, not for military recruiting!

Military recruiters prey on working class communities and communities of color with false promises of job training and money for college. Join us for a protest & speakout at the recruiting center, where we will speak out and distribute literature exposing their lies.

After the protest, join us for an educational forum:
"Iraq: George Bush's Vietnam?"
A look at resistance in Iraq, in the streets, and in our schools
A panel discussion featuring:

Sara Flounders, co-director of the International Action Center, will report on the ongoing resistance to the occupation of Iraq and the growing worldwide opposition to Bush's empire.

Larry Holmes, of the Troops Out Now Coalition, will discuss plans for the upcoming September 24 March in Washington DC. Find out how to get involved in building a massive movement in the streets to demand "Troops Out Now!"

Dustin Langley, of NoDraftNoWay.org, will report on the crisis in military recruiting, the possibility of the draft, and the role of the counter-recruiting movement in the struggle against the war. He will also discuss new strategies and tools for a national Fall campaign against military recruiting and the draft.

*Also, an exlusive video of Falluja, exposing the death and destruction brought by the U.S. occupation.
