The community is invited to gather and celebrate the release of "Life after Life: A Story of Rage and Redemption," a new book by Evans D. Hopkins, a former rank and file member of the Black Panther Party.
Hopkins will be in attendance to sign his book and answer questions about the book and his life as a member of the Black Panther Party, the organization founded in 1966 in Oakland, California, where Hopkins wrote for the Party newspaper.

Hopkins and other former Panthers will discuss the historical importance of
the BPP,
